该课程设计强化学生读写能力，适当增多书写练习，要求熟练掌握汉字结构并能独立阅读达标。训练分析和理解课文与课外阅读资料，要求学生有逻辑地用中文口头表达和简单的段落书写。根据个体能力有针对性地推荐课外读物，促进主动阅读，增大阅读量。

Chinese Speaking I/ II:
This 1.5 hour speaking class is geared towards students who have no Chinese background, and have completed Youth Chinese for Beginners. The class will focus on listening comprehension, speaking, and simplified Chinese character recognition. Students will be introduced to some reading and writing.		Mrs.
